KalstoK Woodland Furniture

I offer outdoor woodland furniture made from locally sourced and reclaimed timber which can be tailor made for your garden. The wood used includes oak, sweet chestnut, sycamore, laurel, beech and maple.

The pieces can be made to fit requirements, loosely based around previous designs. These include a range of chairs, benches (2 or 3 persons), and flat benches for children or adults.

Often the slab wood consists of outsides sections, making maximum usage of the felled tree, and adding unique character to the finished piece. Some wood is coppiced, taken from local managed woodlands. A mixture of green-woodworking and conventional carpentry techniques are used. The majority of work done by hand, using the absolute minimum of power tools.

Garden Chairs

I currently offer two types of rustic garden chair, which can be finished more or less to the customer requirements, finished in stains or natural oils.

Garden Benches

Benches designed can be large or small, seating two or three adults comfortably, usually with oak slab-wood seats and backs which are fashioned to their natural curves, with the frame constructed from laurel branches with the bark remaining. All benches are finished with linseed oil.

Flat Benches and Low Garden Tables

Oak or pine in thick slabs are used to form the top, with which according to its length and height of the leg, it can be configured as low garden table or bench. These are finished in natural oils.

Garden Features

I am currently working towards increasing the range of garden products I have available. But current features that can be made to order are rustic planters, sided with half softwood rounds with or without bark. The base is drilled with drainage holes and the inside can be lined with a polythene sheeting.
