Monday 4th September - Edinburgh to Pitlochry Found a bike shop for brake blocks and a extra top layer for warmth. A chap at the shop pointed out a good Sustrans cycle route which led me out to the Forth road bridge. I crossed the Forth passing through Dunfermlin (where I bought lunch), climbing through Glendevon and into Glen Eagles. I passed through Crieff before climbing up through what seemed like typical Scottish terrain of Sma’Glen, then Glen Cochill. The climb rewarded me with a fantastic view into the highlands , with the peak of Schehallion clearly visible in the distance. Dropping into Aberfeldy, the remainder to Pitlochry was fast going, more or less following the valley floor. I was greeted by the sound of bagpipes playing as I rode into Pitlochry.
